Nickelodeon
Network To Air Program Promoting Homosexuality To Children
Homosexual newspaper proudly proclaims, 'Nickelodeon goes
gay.'Nickelodeon, a TV cable channel for
children, has in the works a program which apparently will promote
homosexual marriage. Reports say the program will include a discussion of
homosexual families, homosexual marriage, and anti-discrimination laws;
and an interview with homosexual school children. The intent of the
program, currently scheduled to air June 19, is to present homosexuality
and homosexual marriages as being "normal" to the children who usually
watch Nickelodeon.
The "Washington Blade," a homosexual newspaper,
indicates that the show is already in production—contrary to what
Nickelodeon Executive Vice President Marva Smalls recently told Andrea
Lafferty with the Traditional
Values Coalition. According to Lafferty, Smalls said the program was
only in the development stages—not in full production. “Nickelodeon has
lied to me twice about the status of an upcoming show on homosexuality,”
said Lafferty. “It’s time for Nickelodeon to get its story straight about
their plans to promote homosexuality on their children’s
network.”
Lafferty said some of the leading questions asked the
children include:
- Do you think it is morally wrong to be a homosexual?
- Many kids are growing up in non-traditional families (2 moms, or 2
dads). What do you think about that?
- Many schools are bringing issues about homosexuality and diversity
into classrooms. Should homosexuality be taught in classrooms?
- Do you think homosexuals are discriminated against?
- Do you think we need laws to protect homosexuals?
The program
will be hosted by Linda Ellerbee, a longtime supporter of homosexual
causes. She is host to Nick News which is shown in classrooms across the
country as part of Cable in the Classroom. This means that the program
promoting the homosexual agenda will go to a captive audience of children
in classrooms as "news", designed to shape the minds of millions of
children.
ACTION NEEDEDNickelodeon, a children’s channel, is not a proper
vehicle to push a political or homosexual agenda. Please contact
Nickelodeon and ask them not to air programs that promote homosexuality.

Dear
President Scannell,
I’m writing to ask Nickelodeon not to air the
program promoting the homosexual lifestyle. Since the program is still in
production by Lucky Duck Productions, I cannot give you the name of the
program but you know the one.
Should you indeed air this program,
you will lose viewers and trust. I look forward to a positive response
from you that this program will not be shown.
Sincerely,
Current
