Wildmon said he finds it implausible for Howard Johnson to espouse a lewd-fest for young adults, while making such a big deal of their partnership with Colin Powell’s "Alliance for Youth.” “What kind of philosophy is that?” asked Wildmon. “Either you raise the bar for America’s culture, or your tear it down. Howard Johnson can’t do both and consider it a proud moment for their company.” Wildmon said Howard Johnson is making a terrible mistake in allowing sexual perversion to flourish under their banner. “A tarnished character is hard to overcome.
