Dear AFA Action Alert member,

Last week, CKE Restaurants defended its Carl's Jr. sexually provocative commercial. The ad shows a model simulating sexual moves while riding a mechanical bull.

CKE is also the parent company of Hardee's fast food restaurants. This week, the company launched a Carl's Jr. commercial with its new spokesperson...Playboy founder Hugh Hefner!

Evidently, CKE doesn't think you'll associate its Carl's Jr. hamburger joints with mainstream Hardee's locations.

But rest assured...both chains are part of the same company and share the profits!

That means every time we eat at Hardee's or Carl's Jr., we're supporting the company's obsession with advancing pornography's foremost mouthpiece as a legitimate and acceptable spokesman.

I hope you are disturbed about this as much as I am. Hugh Hefner made his fortune by exploiting women as mere sex objects and tempting men to cheat on their wives. And, we'll never know how many millions of little boys have been negatively influenced by Hefner's porn magazines.

Hardee's and Carl's Jr. are treating Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner as a hero and celebrity. I say we should let them know we refuse to support their marketing ideology!

ACTION NEEDED
Will you help me launch an all-out contact blitz against Hardee's and Carl's Jr. restaurants? We need to let them know we are fed up with their attack on family values!

Because Hardee's and Carl's Jr. is blocking emails through AFA, here's a great plan of action:

Call Hardee's and Carl's Jr. headquarters toll-free at 877-799-7827. Let them know you are disgusted by their complete disrespect for families.

Contact your local Hardee's or Carl's Jr. restaurant or franchise. Ask to speak with the owner or manager. You can find their number by clicking here.

Although Hardee's and Carl's Jr. is blocking emails from AFA, you should be able to email the chairman and president personally through your home computer, or write:

Dear Chairman Foley,

I am outraged that your company feels Hugh Hefner is an appropriate spokesman for your company.

This decision is an affront to every family in America that has been negatively touched by pornography.

Are you aware the type of pornography Mr. Hefner sells creates an environment of disrespect for, and devalues women? Are you also aware that 86% of rapists admit to the regular use of pornography?

I do not buy pornography, and I do not do business with companies that promote it. And, I'm telling my friends to stay away from your Hardee's and Carl's Jr. restaurants!
