AFA Action Alert!Abercrombie & Fitch offers porn-filled Christmas quarterly"Abercrombie & Fitch is selling porn, plain and simple" - Don Wildmon, AFA ChairmanAbercrombie & Fitch (A&F) continues its pattern of pushing pornography into mainstream America. The A&F 2002 Christmas quarterly shamelessly features scores of nude "Abercrombie Kids" in provocative poses, some suggesting group sex."Abercrombie & Fitch is selling porn, plain and simple," says Don Wildmon, chairman of American Family Association. "This is a company that markets itself to young people, and their message is one of promoting immoral personal and social behavior. A&F is presenting a lifestyle that will lead children to engage in activities that are mentally and physically unhealthy." Wildmon says A&F's self-proclaimed "280 PAGES OF SEX AND X-MAS FUN" is closer to a Playboy magazine than a clothing catalog. The front cover shows a nude male and nude female on a bed, with numerous similar pictures dominating the first 117 pages. "We will continue to warn parents that A&F's free-sex philosophy has a corrupting influence on the young people of America and encourage them to make Abercrombie & Fitch off-limits to their kids," says Wildmon.
